The Importance of Reading

Where there is knowledge there is power and reading is the chief cornerstone of knowledge upon which one can build into infinity. Digital books and audio books make the process of acquiring knowledge easier than it was a generation ago because of advancements in technology. These technological advancements enable people to have a "virtual bookshelf" regardless of their location in the world.

The importance of reading is multifaceted. Reading is requisite to the process of ensuring whether or not the information received from various media resources is factual or not. This also includes important documents and religious text interpretations as history has shown that many people have been deceived through misinterpretations of important documents and religious texts. One cannot adequately perform due diligence without having the ability to read, and it is not wise to take someones word as the "Gospel Truth" without performing due diligence to ensure you are not being deceived. Reading is important for the ability to operate in the context of one's daily life as many words are read in different formats throughout the course of a day.

Reading is fun, important, and it is an integral part of life.
